1organic pasture-raised egg at room temperature.Warm-up eggs that came straight out of the fridge by letting them rest in lukewarm water for 5 minutes to prevent cracking.
water
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Fill a small saucepan 3/4 full with water.
Gently slide the egg into the water and bring the water to a boil slowly. Heating the egg with the water will prevent the egg from cracking. Once the water starts to bubble to a simmer, set the timer.
When the timer goes off, remove the egg from the pan and run it under a cold water tap. This stops the cooking process and cools the egg ready for pealing.
Crack the eggshell, peal, season and serve.
